Barry Kavanagh

This programme is facilitated by Barry Kavanagh who has been providing learning solutions and training for over 30 years.

Barry has completed extensive work in the Nursing Home sector in the last eight years in areas such as leadership, management development and HR management. In addition to our public course Barry has delivered our QQI Programme and many bespoke programmes for Nursing Home clients including; FirstCare, TLC, Mowlam Heathcare, Hamilton Park, Our Lady’s Manor, Brymore House and Nazareth House.

Barry also works with organisations, teams and individuals as a professional coach and trainer. He specialises in the development of soft skills for participants who want to improve their skills in the areas of management, leadership, communication, team building, customer service and sales. Barry’s style is engaging, supportive, charismatic and pragmatic.

Barry is a specialist in cultural awareness and change, team leader development, middle management development, people development, performance management and remuneration systems, presentation skills, time management, customer care, sales coaching and executive coaching.

His qualifications include a Diploma in Personal and Executive Coaching, Diploma in Training and Development and a Certificate in Video Communications and Technology.
